Moore currently sits at #92 prospect for the draft by MLB after entering the season in the top 15. But still 3rd rd at least.

So he's cost himself a few million by underperforming this year.

You're still comparing college baseball to MLB. Great players don't slump for long periods like they do in the MLB. The pitching & scouting isn't good enough to cause it.

Understanding BA isn't the end-all, be-all it once was, the SEC teams we face routinely have three or four guys hitting in the .350 range.

We, um, don't.

When a Bradfield, for example, comes up, go ahead and chalk up a hit.

Who on our team meets that mark? No one.

I haven't felt confident in a Hog getting a hit at any given moment since Kjerstad's and Martin's freshman year.

Bingo. If you're hitting .220 in college something's wrong. That beautiful power swing died at the track a lot this year. When your entire offensive approach is tailored to hitting homers and you hit 6 for an entire year, less than half the year prior, it's back to the drawing board time.

So, do we get some payback on Bama tomorrow or do we bend over and take some more from the Tide?

I think we play well. These boys want to play Tennessee badly.

No telling with this squad, Hoover could get them going at the right time or they could go 0-2.

Who the hell knows? Hopefully we keep it within 2 TD’s this time though.

It feels like this team is done. Its like they're just ready to move on from this season.

I think I said this a month or so ago…but there’s absolutely no leadership. There’s not an Opitz, a Keuchel, a Kjerstad, or anyone on this current squad that you have confidence in to Will the team from behind or to just a simple victory.

It seems as if it’s a collection of guys who care about improving their personal draft stock and not about the program. I think with baseball I am going to hate the transfer portal aspect more than other sports.

Also, I don’t think this conference tourney gets played.

I think it will end up being a single elimination tourney. Just don't see how they cancel with regional seeding undecided.

DVH not coaching today per Phil. He's ill at the hotel.

"University of Arkansas head baseball coach Dave Van Horn will not be with the team for today’s scheduled game in the SEC Tournament. He is not feeling well, but is resting comfortably."
