Yeah, his job is coaching Plantation HS steering players to Arkansas, the hours are long, pay is shitting, chances of promotion is slim, but glad to have him on the staff.

I see cardiologist regularly and take meds for high blood pressure. I'm 35

Mid 40's. He's not really fat (about 6'1" 215lb). Just out of shape with a family history of heart disease.

ETA: Another lesson - if you have any type of symptoms, go to the ER. He was having some shortness of breath, and he went. Even the Dr. thought it was nothing until he did the heart cath this morning. Much easier recovery since he didn't actually have a heart attack.

ehugs! that stinks but they do bypasses these days like cattle going thru a chute (or whatever cattle do) he will be fine. are they going to do it at the heart hospital or where? or did you say st vincent the other day?

cj williams- and yes he is the best, imo. he did surgery on my dad and then on my brother years later. the brother didn't have heart trouble but was actually impaled thru the chest near the heart area.

Edit maybe he's cd not cj??

A guy a work with, who is not overweight, and is only like 33 or 34 had quadruple bypass a few months ago. I had never heard of anyone that young having bypass.
