Heading to Bridgestone today to catch Louisville and WKU.

Will post up some scouting after the game.

Would be a huge win if we could pull it off but Bassey is going to be tough. Expect them to be much better coached than Pastner's GT.

Basset: Highly skilled, great feet and hands, decent bounce but was very soft against Louisville. Bullied entitled first half. Came around in the second with some moves but we can handle him with switching and doubles.

The rest of the team looked terrible. Soft and weak. Hardly any outside shooters and slow ball handlers.

Drunk consensus: tough road matchup, they have great fans but we should matchup well on defense.

Worried about our offense with Bassey in the middle on their zone but we should be more effective against their other players as opposed to GT. They are less talented and weaker.

LINK

Here's a small video of him dunking in high school. He at least should have good hops and muscle to bang down low if need be.

I think as long as he counts as a football scholarship it doesn't count against the bball team. I could be wrong on that though.

Actually I seem to remember some kind of weird rule the NCAA made to prevent that because Bear Bryant used to use Bball schollies for football. Basically I have no fricking clue

I'll be anxious to see what Bell brings to the table. He is a freak athlete. We could use a wide body or two.

yes you definitely can't do that in football because of Bear. I thought basketball too though and then the rest they didn't count. I don't remember and am too lazy to look it up though

I tried looking it up but all I came away with is the obvious that both basketball and football are "head count" sports in regards to scholarships. Couldn't find anything on if a player initially on a football scholarship counted against both. I would assume as long as he continues to play football that it only counts against the football limit.

Any player that plays football must be on in any capacity, they count against football. Can't even be academic scholarship. Yes it's the Bear Bryant rule.

So if we were to get technical he's just a player on a football scholly walking on to the bball team. Works for me. Come on down, Kyree.

Headcount sport means he counts towards the teams scholarship limits on both I believe.

I was wrong. how this works in football you have 85 scholarships and team roster limit of 118.

the roster limit in football is what prevents you from going all bear bryant crazy.

basketball doesn't technically have a team size limit only the scholarships so it works.
