Yeah I think our admin has noticed the price of truly trying to compete in football in this conference and has just decided we aren’t playing the game. They’re content for us to be a Stanford type school with a decent all around athetlic program that will try to make a bowl game at 6-6/7-5, but not much more than that.
It would not shock me if we eventually become the Vanderbilt of the west. Our admin has shown zero willingness to compete at the level it take to be good at football in the SEC the past decade.

Have said at a few points this season that I had this weird feeling we were going to lose Rocket to the portal, informed by literally nothing other than intuition.

Meh.. I’d trade rocket for ketron or cat. Don’t get me wrong I love rocket but he tip toes looking for the home run instead of just putting his head down and getting 3 or 4. Most of the time the yards he was getting were yards that any back could’ve got because of good run blocking up front, but rocket seemed to be the coaches favorite. I thought aj was more explosive and Dominique when healthy, was our best back and best at breaking tackles(I’m a sucker for guys who are guaranteed 3/4 yards a pop though, home run threat be damned so I love dom.) I’m not happy that he’s gone but it doesn’t ruin our season next year.
