Your 6’5” WR who’s had 1 carry all season is more likely to fumble than your RB. Having two ball exchanges on one play is more likely to cause a fumble. A reverse is more likely to result in a loss of yard than straight ahead run. It’s a higher risk/higher reward play. It worked until the miscalled fumble, but I would have rather seen a standard run.

Seems Catalon’s interest has suddenly picked up. At A&M today and Ole Miss this weekend. The prophecy of him going to a division rival and having a perfectly healthy season are closer to coming true.

so Pittman fumbled, because reverses cause fumbles
You really need to get your shite together.

There's one guy in this entire conversation taking issue with the call and it's not the one you're picking a fight with.

In the span of a week you could have Petrino to A&M, Briles to State and Catalon to a division rival. Seems about par for the course as an Arkansas fan.

This isn't even worth a conversation. We got the only officiating crew in America that would have ruled that a fumble. It simply wasn't one. The play got a huge chunk gain and he was down. The game should have been over. Blaming anyone other than the refs is stupid.

His stated premise for being upset with Briles was a call he didn't make. Seems like that would be a good indicator to inform him of who actually made the call he didn't like so much.

if Pittboss called the reverse, then good on Pittboss

We actually have a fanbase who sky screams about "shutting it down in the second half" and then simultaneously sky screams about "reverses called in the second half!!!"

I'm aware. But maybe we chill with the guns blazing approach until we actually know whose stance is what instead of jumping to conclusions yeah? I enjoy you as a poster but you're cranked up to a 11 lately.
