Maybe he is tired of being paid Jack shite while getting up at 3 am. Too bad there is a coach limit and we can’t hire both..

Mostly just to find out who is gonna be a killer on the recruiting trail.

Sam definitely seems to lack a sense of urgency. I’ve gotten that vibe in the past two off seasons but it’s really amplified now with how much change he has on his plate to handle.

Agreed, I can't believe those news people do that. Have local "fame" of sorts where people stop and talk to you when you're wanting to get a gallon of milk but you make like 40k a year.

Terrible hours too.

Not that my opinion matters other than just being an alum and lifelong fan but I could get behind either Gragg or DJ as a replacement for Loggains. Both played TE for the Hogs at the highest level and had some NFL experience.

Loggains caried a clipboard for Nutt for 4 seasons.

You realize he coached in the NFL right? For a while?

Granted on some terrible teams but just sayin, Gragg and Williams barely had a cup of coffee in the league.

DJ Williams is one of the greatest Arkansas players of all time. He was a hell of a TE and I think he’d kill it in recruiting and coaching TE’s.

Maybe he could also provide a little Bobby P influence on our offense.

Same or more than many position coaches currently in CFB. All I'm saying is that Gragg and Williams both played the position in college, and both want the job. I'm not politicking for either but just saying I would be ok with either of them getting a shot.

Too bad we can’t take Dowells salary, split it and hire them both… how many off field coaches can we have? And can they contact recruits or only on the field can?

Collyn Taylor @collyntaylor

Dowell Loggains is South Carolina's offensive coordinator. He's on a three-year deal making $1 million annually. He made $400,000 at Arkansas this season.

Big thing: he wouldn't have to pay a buyout if he took an NFL/Division I head coaching job.

Lordy mercy…SC is overpaying for Loggains. I’ve always liked Dowell because he is a hog through and through…but that dude didn’t have a single successful NFL OC stint in his time in the league…why on earth would SC pay him a mil a year? There wasn’t anyone else beating down his door.

I love them both, but Tweeting is not the way to apply for a job

Apparently shits about to hit the fan. Danny and all three posters with known direct links to the staff have all said tonight that it’s about to get bad in our world. Good times gents.

Any specifics given? E.g. more staff turnover, portal, etc

In Danny’s words, there is lots going on here and none of it sounds good for the Hogs. I would guess multiple recommits of our best recruits due to staff turnover and instability. Throw in potentially Jimmy Smith and Scherer leaving from the staff And we’d have lost our three best recruiter in a week.
