This is just getting sad. Some or most students go there to get an education and many don’t care about sports. Why should they pay a player who doesn’t give a crap for what the school is actually for. Screw these players and their money. When I went to school there it came out of my pocket, it would piss me off that it cost me more especially if I didn’t care about what my money was being pissed off on. But that’s just my opinion. I’m sick of this crap.
Agree. That’s BS and honestly, student section should be bigger in the lower bowl and tickets should be cheaper. We are fricking loaded and act like poors. So sick of hearing Yurabitch’s false BS because he doesn’t know how to run this correctly(I.e. hire the right people to do it and keep doing the things he IS good at). Shoot, I’m starting to wonder how much he pisses DVH and Pittman off with this crap.

Dude, this has gotten way out of control period. When a player may make more than some assistant coaches, while getting their education, clothing, food, etc. It is off of the rails.
We need a reset period. And, Ole miss hasn't done really anything with all of those nil bucks in football ... Yet....
Look at Tenner and their NIL this season

It’s time to get used to it.
I am used to it
I have not been to a game this year, did not renew my season tickets or tailgating spot

I still think the best idea is to cut out Seat Geek and create our own resale website with a link, just like we have now for Seat Geek. All the fees go into the NIL or whatever fund.
I haven’t bought Hog resale tickets in a minute, but I’d imagine from the complaints I see all the time or hear about, it’s at least $15-$20 per ticket transaction.
That's a brilliant idea for a business

I say add $2 extra for each ticket and use hawgeyes idea.

Arkansas Edge Resale website. It’s not rocket surgery. It’s literally sitting right there for the athletic department.

That’s actually a great idea. Resale fees are ridiculous.
Here is what I’ve been thinking about since NIL started. Develop a site where fans can donate based on performance. Basically fans can place bids on what they will donate for wins in each game. For instance $5 for beating UAPB or $100 for beating TX. Fans enter their own amount and only pay if we win. The total pot for each win would then be split amongst the team. Maybe weighted by playing time or something.
Point being I think more fans would donate smaller amounts throughout the season if they are only paying out for wins. I have little interest in paying $$$ for players to just make it to campus without any guarantee.

Pro model is here.
A pro model would be better. At least there would be a salary cap and a draft.
