The linebackers were actually good (besides Pool who was injured the entire year) and what he did with Pooh Paul was impressive. Linebacker was not the problem last year

Scherer was our best recruiter on defense and he was young. We have three LB's with size committed in this class after Pooh Paul, Jordan Crook and Mani Powell last year.
Before Scherer we couldn't get hardly anyone to play LB going back to JUCO Martrell Spaight, Brooks Ellis and De'Jon Harris. We struggled to put anyone next to Scoota Harris.
He also coached Grant Morgan, Hayden Henry, Bumper Pool and Drew Sanders over the last two years.
The production of those players speaks for itself.

Nope.... Auburn is
Not sure who we will end up with but I'm ready for us to get someone hired.

I actually saw the Air Force DC's name pop up last last night. Don't know if there is any validity but that would be a phenomenal hire.
