It might be a coincidence that Julie Cromer Peoples got hired a year before Deifel was brought onboard... or it might not. If JCP did steer the search committee to Deifel then FFS have her find a new men's track coach.
A remarkable turn around for the program in year 3 considering what she inherited when Deifel took the job. 13th overall seed and hosting a regional is amazing given how horrible we were in the past. Hopefully we win our regional and advance, it would be a real boost to the program just to make it to the super regional.

Happy for the softball team to host a regional for the first time ever, that's a big deal. They have a pretty good shot to advance too.

Went to the game today and had a good time, but the parking situation was atrocious. Had more trouble leaving the softball game than I ever had with basketball. Maybe they will find a way to improve it if we host again since it was the first ever regional here, plus seems like there were several other things going on.
