Supposed to be, yes. Musselman went 11-34 with 3 NCAA appearances and a sweet 16. Chad's best accomplishment was going 7-6 at SMU in a extremely weak conference.

Lots of great info in that podcast. Tremendous insight into how prepared Musselman is with everything he does.

I have been impressed with everything he has said. I get the feeling that he's going to win big.

Morris: Football ain't who I am. I'm just a lil ol' high school coach. I'd rather spend time in Texas watching my son then gameplanning.

Musselman: Basketball is my life. I wake up in the middle of the night worrying about rebounding. My family is fully involved in basketball. They have to tell me to dial it back sometimes because all I do is worry about the game and how we can plan better.

Hopefully the Musselman's approach yields better results than Morris' but I doubt we have boneheaded mistakes - I doubt we have players scoring on the wrong basket or running into eachother. We might get out manned but we aren't getting out planned.

At least you're consistent I guess. There's SO many other legitimate things to complain about with our coaching

The fact that some of our fans actually believe this is an issue is wild.

Without thinking, like an idiot.... I began this crap show last season. After a small thrashing and putting my thinking cap on. I apologized profusely.

I guess I must do so again.

We are just so bad that people are reaching for all aspects to bitch about. This one is truly stupid to do though.

Coaching, check
hiring assistants, check
Player development, check
Game day personnel, check
Recruiting now, check
Excuses, Check
Corny catch phrases, check although a stretch...

Watching your son play in his Sr. year at his Highschool. Shut up please...

Is this the only thing you know how to say. Just post the same lame arse meme level defense of Chaggie. Seriously..... the last time I complained about Morris spending time in Texas was last season. How f'n consistent is that?

let me guess your rebuttal:

"you salty bruh.... why u so mad....clown emoji.... blah blah f'n blah".

The difference between Musselman and Morris is amplified by the fact that Musselman is fully invested in this team.... Morris not so much.

It sucks that you are fine with that but it's probably easy when your not shelling out thousands of dollars for season tickets and donations.

You can devote your extra time to family when you are able to do your job at a competent level.

Morris hasn't proved that he can do so.

Ladies and Gents, one of the reasons our world is in the fine shape it is in.

Dude, my family will always come first. Over occupation, sports, finances, they are the greatest investment I can make in my life. The investment of my time, efforts, teaching, admonishing, love, money... anything.

The only way would would lose him is to the NBA. If he started to win big, this fan base is so hungry he could name his price.

I could see him leaving for somewhere like UCLA. Or obviously somewhere like Duke or Kentucky. But other than that not worried about any other college jobs.

The NBA was my first thought, but like someone said, UCLA or Duke would make sense too.

Okay...before we get ahead of ourselves worrying about whether he would leave us for UCLA or duke, maybe we can just make it out of the first weekend of the NCAA tournament.

Boy you really nailed my posting style there.

What? You'd be hard pressed to find me defending Chad - or any of our coaches - anywhere. How did you miss the entire point of my post?

When I said you were consistent I mixed you up with a dude around here that has a major hangup with Chad's son staying in TX and posts about it constantly. I forgot you're the guy with the LR hangup instead.
