It's not really a "gimmick" if that's who you really are, which is certainly the case with him - it's a big part of why he has the job. This ain't the days of Houston Nutt being an angel in public and devil behind closed doors.

All these glowing reviews we've heard from everyone that knows the man - and have known the man going back to Texas HS days - tell me that this is who he truly is and it's organic, not manufactured for public.

I don't know why but this thread has really triggered me, normally I can at least force myself to understand someone else's viewpoint even if I don't agree with it - not here. I'm legitimately not seeing the jittery, tweaked out, stuttering, rah-rah guy being referenced here at all, not even in the absolute least bit.

100% agree. Your attitude and work ethic can easily turn a "negative" into a positive, even if you have to learn how to work in a non linear way.

Even the most creative cynic could chalk some of these stories up to back scratching. But the anecdotes Ive read about former players still having relationships with him years down the road speak highly of CCMs character.

Coach Mo likes Red Bull and I'm OK with it.

It isn't just his former players. I've heard people talk about this guy like he hung the damn moon. Same people who thought Bielema was a mouth breathing retard. He gets glowing reviews from people whose business it is to evaluate coaches.

I am very excited to have Morris as our coach. I think he is capable of great things here.

He seems to be very authentic in who he is. Some people just have an engine that is always going full throttle.

After 5 years of football in the slow lane going at half speed I dare say the slogan is right... its time to put the hammer down.

Yup, blow and go in the fast lane. It's easy when it ain't on the field against Bama and Allbarn.

Don't blow all your Red Bull BS, you still have to win in the west Brah!

And spacing out the days that I take my adderall keeps me from getting addicted.

I'm just gonna let it be known that i have been a drug addict before and I can say this is unequivocally false. It does not take 21 days of everyday use to become addicted. You are addicted whether you want to admit it. There are both psychological and physical things that go with addiction. Also amphetamines eat holes in your brain. Your brain 100% for sure has begun removing dopamine receptors as it begins this process from the first time you use amphetamines because it knows you are receiving too much dopamine and this is it's response.

Is it just me or does this whole board seem cranky?

Not in strict reference to this thread, just glancing at the most recent posts.
