I am so freaking tired of people saying “we don’t have a good NIL” to justify bad coaching.

I’m tired of people saying our NIL is bad when I never heard anyone advocating for an NIL war chest until like a year ago when it was 5 years too late. We’re so late to everything. I would have donated to a fund three or four years ago. I’m not too interested now.

Get a winning football team and all other sports will see a springboard.

I think we have to get big in basketball again and maybe win a Natty in baseball. We cannot currently compete in football at all. At least not with the big boys. We'll have to build football off the success of mens' basketball. We have to get the swagger back we had under Nolan. The more your school is in the limelight, the better.

I also think we should focus our football NIL on the offensive and defensive lines. Go out and get the best we can, especially on the O-line. You don't have to have as good of skill players with a dominating line and you can get O-linemen relatively cheap.

you may be right about basketball but look at other sec schools baseball success. You definitely don’t have to trade baseball success for football or basketball. And women’s sports in general will benefit if we have better men’s sports imo.

Just happened to see that Arkansas state women’s reward for making the NCAA tournament was playing UConn and trailing 54-11 in the second quarter. Good grief…

I’m amazed there is a five page thread about hiring a women’s coach, and people are making fun of the program for not spending money on it. Is this bizarro world or something?
