You know, ever since I got the covids back in winter my taste buds have changed. I've always just drank beer, and have never cared for whiskey.

Well, after the covids, I'll just be damned if I don't enjoy the hell out of bourbon. I only drink it neat, and usually only a couple of days out of the week I'll have me a 1/2 an inch or so in a whiskey glass.

I've been keeping up with the bourbon thread on the food and drink board, but wished I never would have found that damn thread. A lot of those high end bourbons aren't cheap.

tl;dr: ever since the covids, yes. It changed my taste buds. For some reason, I thought you liked whiskey. If you did, was gonna recommend picking up a bottle of the Four Roses small batch.

I like you man

my 10-day covid vacation in December of 2020 I guess was what sent me on a bourbon spiral and I'm lucky I didn't die. Not from covid, but from the whiskey.

a couple days a week you have a half inch?

If I had one sip I was drinking half the bottle. No bourbon/whiskey/scotch/any hard liquor for me ever again

beer and wine and that's all - too much, but it's progress

one of my best friends from high school loves Crown too much, and I worry about him

I think he's got it under control way better than I ever could, but I still worry about him

Noah drank beer and Jesus drank wine, so I don't want to venture off in any direction away from those guys

eta: that a-hole

I would leave after baseball practice was over and go work on my long jump in track until the sun went down. And I still missed 20 feet by two inches. 19'10, damn.

Then he never practiced it at all and jumps over 22 feet at the state track meet. No effort. Professional adult now, but he let his attitude get in the way with Harold Horton. If he'd let Coach Horton lead him he might have gone to the NFL.

Isn’t this the best case scenario?

We keep all conference and big games in Fayetteville, not having to play LSU down there. Little Rock gets it’s game.

Obviously best case is not to have it happen, but if we are going to, and we are. Give them the FCS schools. We can use them not showing up as an excuse to cancel the contracts. Also we can let the other Arkansas schools we are now playing use it as their “home” game for attendance.
