Word is Thiero tore meniscus and waiting until after selection Sunday to announce it. Hopefully not true but that rumor is everywhere now.

I haven’t heard anything about Boogie and I think AT is probably out for the season unfortunately. We’re really going to have to step up and grind but we’re not out of the picture if we beat state, imo. It would help our image with the Committee if we win that game and they knew one or both of those guys would be ready and playing in NCAAT, IMO. Fingers crossed for Saturday and we need to have our lunch buckets at work.

SEC Tournament looks like a path it (I could be wrong but think we have the 9 seed)

Crazy to see that and also see Hogs are 19-12 overall.
According to bracketmatrix, Arkansas is in all brackets and average seed amongst all those brackets is a 10 seed. There are 92 brackets reporting this morning and Hogs are in all.

Has the SEC Basketball tournament gone the way of the Baseball Tournament? My question is can we improve our NCAA seed with a win or 2 in Nashville or are we are were we are?

Win or two can improve seeding slightly or can keep you in depending on how the tournies for the mid and low majors play out.
The wins could move you from a 11 to a 10 or keep you at a 11 with a bye if a few bids are stolen from other conferences having an unexpected tourney champ.

With our depleted bench we need to avoid a Dayton play in game.

Honestly, I'd be fine with only beating South Carolina and then going home. I'd rather sit at a 10 seed than an 8 or 9 and have to play a 1 seed in round two if we advance.
