You would think the water carriers on here would too. They led the cheers getting rid of players, but now they've got to kiss Chaggy's arse on the topic of updating the roster to mark off those very players who are gone.

Love it. Every loss was the player's fault, or the assistant coaches, but never Chaggy.

Now gotta cover for Chaggy again. Nothing can ever be his fault with the water carriers.

Harry, man... come on now! This is a genius ploy by CCM... He will use it to motivate better performance of our players. I don't think it has anything to do with winning and losing but I agree 100% with it being embarrassing. There are people who are getting paid good money to keep this shite updated. It's offseason - WTF else is the SID doing?

Same with the people who are resposible for releasing the baseball media guide. Still haven't received ours and it still hasn't been published online. They also haven't updated the Sounds of Baum website with the players walk ups.

Also.... drove by Baum and they have yet to replace the player banners on the outside. Opening day is Friday..... crap needs to get done.

Hate on Long all you want but he kept on top of things like this.... collectachek is too busy trying to keep the GOBN happy.

Which doesn't bother me. I know they need money to operate and I take pride that we don't steal from our students to float our athletic program (unlike other instate universities).

I just want some basic competency. Losses can be a result of a good resume coach being a lemon despite their resume - BIELEMA!

The athletic department can control their image and branding. They can control their customer service (ticket office especially) and their SID. They can make sure season ticket holders and donors are kept up to date in regards to when to expect their tickets and/or media guides. They sure as hell can keep the roster updated.

Every sport needs to improve with their customer relations.... but, I have to say - despite my complaints above - baseball does the best job interacting and updating their season ticket holders. They have a facebook page where they tell us about open practices and when tickets are being shipped. Hopefully all sports will adopt this method.
