Wanted too, but had responsibilities that I couldn't rationalize away enough. Regretted not going until now. I will say this, it is CRAP that this isn't televised.

It’s not overreacting. It’s the truth. If Sam Pittman doesn’t make a bowl game next year, after “two” in a row. His detractors will push for him to be gone. The people who never wanted him will start saying Gus is waiting (i’d rather nail my dick to the floor) or look at what Bobby is doing at Missouri State, he has changed and wants to be back.

So then he would head into the next season on the “hot seat”.

You get a 7 year contract we aren’t going to buy it out in year 2. I would also assume after this year one or both of our coordinators will be gone, and he won’t have to worry about a contract when replacing them.

Do I think Sam is a good coach yes. But getting paid alleviates a lot of the stress he would otherwise be under if there is a down year from all the seniors being gone.
