It's painful that we've come back around to, "I tell ya Chuck, we're just a few plays away." After the last ten years, it should be encouraging. It isn't.

Pittman got Arkansas back to Bert level of football.
Improvement of terrible to competitive but still bad enough not win the close games.

It used to make me want to throw shite at my tv or go kick Chuck in the balls. Now, I just don’t care and golf or hike when our games are on, read the box score and laugh at how we lose just as many games due to stupid mistakes as we do to “not having enough talent”. They don’t get my viewership of ticket spending anymore and they won’t for the foreseeable future in football. I’m not going to support a lazy, overweight drunk who can’t coach discipline or make good decisions - the amount of 1 score games we lose highlights this.

I hadn't planned on watching, but as the dish and I walked past a bar in Soulard, I saw us up 14-0. The pick 6 happened before the foam settled. It's my own damn fault, but we still had a great day.

The one thing I’ll say - football sends me over the edge even when rationally we just can’t pull it off. But this game was so hard because I see a lot of good players and potential and frankly we have some grown arse men playing and it’s just hard watching us shoot ourselves in the foot. Then again, their qb missed a lot of wide open receivers, OSU is a perennial 8-10 win team with great fan support and we were playing them in their house. It’s not like losing to SJSU, North Texas, Western Kentucky, etc. (let alone at DWRRS). I would definitely like to see more fire from Pittman on the sideline though(who knows though - kids are babies these days and can’t handle criticism that will get them big gains if they actually listen. Probably a very unenviable balancing act to have to play).

I'll just say this. Frick Pittman and his garbage arse coaching. Frick him, frick his jukebox, frick his dumbass "awe shucks" talk for the cameras, and frick having him as our coach. Frick Bobby for crashing his Harley. Frick John L Smith for smiling. Frick Bert for making our state fatter. Frick Morris because he's a damn Aggy. Frick Jeff Long because he looks like he enjoyed the smell of his own farts. Frick Walmart and Tyson field logos because our team deserves queer Target and Vegan logos instead.
