The timing is interesting after her best player and one of the best in the country hit the portal just yesterday. They said she's likely headed to UGA to train with some other gal for the Olympics in '28. Can we cut this program now too?

Gymnastics makes more money than women's basketball.

I'm guessing either she left because Weiber was or Webier left because she was. Either way...

And i believe i read somewhere that her husband (and current assistant) will be taking over as head coach?

Gymnastics is a strange world

Yeah we nepo hired but at least it's gymnastics so who cares. The team is pretty much completely gone from last year, lost everyone.

Well it’s just funny considering our previous co-head coaches who were married at one point but then continued as co-head coaches even after getting divorced. Like I said, gymnastics is just a little weird

My 4 year old little girl loves to go and we always have a good time. Hopefully still fun to go next year.

We're probably going to be down for a bit but folks love going to the gymnastic meets.

My concern is that Yurachek will try to squeeze a bit more cash by going cheap and a popular, and fairly successful, secondary sport will wither on the vine.

on the tennis thing, why does that sport cost so much??

couldn't we become "associate members" of a lesser conference in tennis without having to travel so much?

case in point, other SEC schools who are associate members in lesser sports

SEC Schools with Associate Conference Memberships:
Kentucky Wildcats: Men's Soccer (Sun Belt Conference)
South Carolina Gamecocks: Men's Soccer (Sun Belt Conference)
Alabama Crimson Tide: Women's Rowing (Big 12 Conference)
Tennessee Volunteers: Women's Rowing (Big 12 Conference)
Florida Gators: Women's Lacrosse (American Athletic Conference - AAC)
Vanderbilt Commodores: Women's Lacrosse (American Athletic Conference -

get tennis in the Sun Belt and move forward. We could still qualify for the NCAA tourney

That's only allowed if the SEC doesn't offer that sport. The SEC does for tennis so a member cannot join another conference. Same reason Missouri is still in the Big 12 for wrestling.

ESPN is retarded. They should dump all the wnba and college women’s basketball money into softball and gymnastics. Those two could/would become far more profitable. And I might actually care about women’s sports, quit telling me about the dumb bitches I don’t care about like Angel Reese and Caitlyn Clark.
