I've seen worse but this is definitely the worst team Muss has fielded since he's been here. I think he rolled the dice this year and thought he could install defensive discipline.
That hasn't worked.
Unlike some I won't start screaming for the entire Athletic Department to be fired and the campus burnt to the ground. But I will say that Muss needs to sit down and figure out how he is going to recruit and build teams in this new NIL environment.
Splashing the cash on the biggest talent out there isn't going to work as well as building a balanced team I fear. And if we have another year like this than the plentiful NIL money won't be plentiful any more.
