I blame the silver bolts on the shoulders, all the players know they look ridiculous and it affects their mood.

Disagree.

It didn't work at Rutgers purely running the ball. We are running Alabama's offense without the talent. We all said if Allen was throwing the ball at Rutgers we win going away. So which is it?

I'm in full meltdown right now. I knew it wouldn't be pretty this year but all I wanted to see was improvement. All I see is regression and players that quit.

Exactly. Point to me where we have any All-SEC players left by Petrino regardless of coaching?

The kicking game definitely has All-SEC talent to bad they aren't in a position to win us a game.

Running the ball successfully sets up the pass. Derby can't throw period so it didn't matter how set up the pass was, we couldn't do it. With Allen, he could at least hit a route. They couldn't stop Wilco, but Chaney stopped them for them anyway.

That's true, it didn't work at Rutgers, and after these past few weeks I think we still lose to Rutgers with Allen in the game.

Well that is obvious however..

Allen couldn't hit the side of the barn today either. He's young and probably isn't as good as advertised just like all most all Petrino recruits.

How can you disagree when the proof is seen clear as day in the play calling?

What didn't work at Rutgers was throwing 3 incompletions and stopping the clock on all those plays.

A running game is something a coach has to commit to. The rewards of sticking with the running game pay off later in the game, keeps the clock moving, and gives your defense a rest.

Do you know we had the ball for only 16:30 today? That means our defense was on the field for 3/4 of the game. We ran 34 plays.

Allen isn't any better than Derby at this point.

Citadel, Danny Ford, Jack Crow, John L Smith.

You say it's not the talent and I completely disagree as I typed. Name me our All-SEC players?

Yes. When you have the talent like Alabama or LSU. This running game or O-line isn't as good as Houston Nutt's.

Yes. That is bad.

My original point, is why did we run off a senior QB who earned a starting job at an ACC school in order to start a coaches son? I've seen Mitchell, he was never this bad.

You don't need a list of all SEC players to win 6 games....what do all SEC players have to do with it?

Nobody is asking for a national championship this year....but a staff that shows more than the staff here last year would be great.

What happened today cannot be defended....period...the fact you're attempting to defend them is laughable....Our coaching staff has absolutely shite the bed.....

You don't lose 52-7 at home to fricking South Carolina....period....

bullshite.

You don't have to have LSU or Alabama talent to run the ball in this league.

You have to have a competent offensive coordinator who knows what the frick he is doing....

Why in the hell is Chaney still our offensive coordinator? I complained on here last week about him.

We were down 10-7 a week ago and abandoned the run.

We were up 7-3 today and did the same shite.

I agree completely. And for starters, Chaney needs to go. He's terrible.

excluding the one play where Sprinkle got knocked down, did we attempt any more throws to a TE?

No one knows.

Even Houston Nutt had All-SEC players against UNLV in Las Vegas. We have none therefore no bowl game for us especially in this league. Have you noticed teams with All-SEC players at key positions usually make big plays to win games? We have none.

Totally defending them as this isn't their style nor their players and working with what they were giving half way into YEAR ONE.

Houston Nutt had All-SEC players on his lines and we ran the ball very well just like Alabama and LSU. This is certainly not the case now.

Bobby Petrino would not go to a bowl game this year even if he was the OC. Our defense cannot stop anyone once they are past our D-line. The talent is very average across the bar. Without Collins on offense, hell we have literally nothing, and he is a Coach B recruit.

The only thing I'm upset about it is the lack of laying into some hyde by the coaching staff.

I'd almost rather Allen run out 10 yards and just hand off to a WR or TE instead of throwing it.

I agree with you SunHog, this team is devoid of talent.

Our best player is Chris Smith and he was out of position and over pursuing all day.

Again, stop defending them.

I can't rag on a defense that was on the field for over 40 fricking minutes....there just isn't much they can do better by starting a game by forcing a fg on their first drive....only to have the offense give them the ball inside the damn 15 yd line...then the offensive play calling goes to goofy misdirection plays, bad pass calls, no TE involvement.....basically full fricking retard...

Coaching is not good on this team right now....Period....
