He scored 21.
A&M scored 16 on offense.
So he still did his job.
This is really just KJ fumbling and Pittman slowing down at the end instead of going for it because he doesn’t trust us shutting them out on defense.

Briles doesn’t score a ton of points when you put his style of play in context. Kentucky scores fewer points but you could argue that they have a better offense because unlike Arkansas they don’t routinely give the ball immediately back to the other team’s offense.
Your median result in football is more important than your mean result. Do you go 3 and out frequently? What percentage of your possessions result in a score or a 4+ minute possession? What is your ratio of punts to plays? What percent of your plays go for 5+ yards and what percent go for 2 or less yards. You can’t just look at points because style of offense directly effects the other side of the ball.

To be honest I didn’t either. I mean last year against Ole Miss and Mississippi State we took a lead with very little time left and they basically marched down the field at will in 3 plays.
I thought it was the right decision but the bad snap screwed everything up.
