All this is cool and to quote Sam, “I didn’t know what to do”, but let’s face it if he was past 2 progressions he was never gonna get the ball from Green either way.

Change the BOT, fire the AD, Fire the NIL Management team and hire a Manager, Hire a engagement team fro the manager to fire up corporate and fans and then with that plan Fire Pittman and hire a coach. Here is the thing, if we get a GM they can’t be under BOT or Athletic Directors meddling hands. He needs to be able to fire personnel up to and including the coach. Otherwise we are still playing tiddly winks, while others are playing Go.

I love you but he rotated Casey with his little brother Nathan at the end of the season. Tyler got cleanup snaps in two blowout games against Texas and Bama so it’s not like there was some grand plan to get his guy in.
We went 1-1 under Nathan while we were 4-6 under Casey.

Do you remember why? Tyler was a redshirt freshman. During those times a redshirt freshman could only play the FIRST four games without blowing the redshirt, not any four games.

Wilson was a true freshman.
Big dick seamed to have a short leash while little dick made the same or worse mistakes and was left in. Petrino recruited little dick to Louisville, big dick seamed like the odd man out in the QB room at that time. Of course Casey is fondly remembered for the miracle on Markham II which drove optimism going forward.
It's relevant in the sense that one of the major gripes about favoritism this season was with Green who Petrino recruited out of HS and to Arkansas instead of playing Singleton who looked ok against UAPB and helped hang onto the victory against Ed Tennessee. Some how these same people blame Pittman for this supposed favoritism.
The only for sure fingerprints on the offense from Pittman was running the ball for the majority of the second half with slim leads, Petrino would run the ball to ice the game as well, but not if the time exceeded the possibility of points from the opponent.
The angst from the boomers also seems to center around the fantasy of Pittman retiring this year so Petrino could be elevated to HC is not going to happen. Their dicks are raw from all of the tugging since he was hired as oc.
The secret is it doesn't matter who the HC is. Changes will have to be made above the HC before the HC will actually matter.

Also Petrino burned Wilson's redshirt that year and he was only able to get the year back after a medical waiver was granted due to injury during the Texas game IIRC.

This is the thing that pisses me off the most. It has cost us so many games. Almost cost us the Texas Tech game when we slowed down in the 2nd quarter for no damn reason.

Either way, I don’t have faith in Green. But there is still hope he gets a good line and can go through progressions. His unnatural allegiance to stone hands Broden really has me worried though.

Yea, the AD and Board are the reason we pissed away games to Okie State, A&M and Mizzou while getting obliterated at home by a 3 loss Ole Miss team.

I'm the conductor of the fire Pittman bandwagon and think it's bullshite this kid didn't get snaps this year, but this is another reason why the portal windows have to be changed.
You need to have ONE portal window and have it open between Thanksgiving and mid-December. Once that's closed, it's done. Otherwise you're going to continue seeing bullshite like this where an unknown kid balls out in a meaningless bowl game against 2nd and 3rd stringers and then portals for a payday.
Ironically, teams who have these types of performances are getting penalized for it. It's oddly better to lose the bowl game or win a defensive slugfest than have some offensive skill players play well and put together tape for other schools.
