In our most likely scenario we split our next 4. We lose this one then we could be looking at 1 win over the next 4 games (OSU is not a given) and I think that puts us outside the Tourney momentarily.

Despite my opinions on MA as our coach, I want to see this team succeed. Failure to win on the road is not going to get this team in the Tourney however. Especially with that home loss to LSU.

UGA struggles from behind the arc, 31%. I fully expect them to go off on our defense on Tuesday.

They are shooting 71% at the free throw line, disadvantage us. It would be great to go down there and steal one.

Seems to me that half you guys around here would be rooting for the Hogs to lose so we can fire our coach.

Thread doesn't make sense.

Arkansas shot very well from the foul line yesterday. Yesterday's game should have given Hog fans a lot of hope. The team seems to have corrected some of the problems they had been experiencing over the last few games. CJ Jones was back in the flow of things, the team shot a high percentage from the foul line, and there was a clear effort to get the ball inside to Gafford.

If they can continue playing like they did yesterday they will start winning some road games.

While this is true, I was alluding to the fact that we won't get the benefit of the close calls in Athens. UGA will shoot more FT's than the Hogs.

We need to make ours and play solid defense to win on the road.

I would agree 100% if this was on the road. If we have a solid performance and win on Tuesday, hope will return.

Almost blowing a big lead to a 10-9 Ole Miss team at home?

Yea, we really turned the corner last night.

What team are you watching? Defense and overall ball movement are still atrocious.

I'm watching the same team I've been watching since the late 80s and I'm actually a fan of. I understand this is a foreign concept to you, ya know, supporting your team.

I'll just go on not taking anything you say seriously.

I'm rooting for Hogs to win and still get rid of Anderson. I don't have other worldly expectations. I just have the same expectations as any all-time top 20 program. And what Anderson has done in 7 seasons has not been up to par. Even 1 sweet 16 or SEC title would go a long way. He's got this season and next to do that.

Tuesday’s game is huge. It would put us back into the top half of the conference standings and basically counteract the inexplicable loss to LSU. At that point, we have to hold home court and steal another on the road. 10-8 should be sufficient to get us in the tournament though I think it’ll be a bubble situation.

This team is a good offensive and mediocre defensive team so we tend to live and die by offense. Defense is getting a little better, but it coincided with an offensive slump. Also, the killer instinct we had early on doesn’t seem to be there yet, so we have to recapture that. I was glad to see CJ Jones get going and our FT shooting improve, but was a little concerned with the late game close out energy.

I don't see us holding home court against UK and TAMU. Not with what we have seen. A split would be okay but we need road wins. We have squeaked by our 3 wins at home thus far.

I think they can beat both Kentucky and Aggy at home. Easily. (Not saying the games will be easy, but they can win them both) Neither of those teams look like the juggernauts people have been saying they are. Kentucky is down, and Aggy started conference play like 0-5.

Hogs have no reason to be intimidated by either team.

Arkansas needs to get Georgia on Tuesday and get at least one more on the road. Maybe they can go into Baton Rouge pissed off and get that one.

I don't think this is the UK team of old. Not to say they will be an easy out, but falling apart like they did against USCe and losing to Florida at Rupp makes me think that we might be able to take that one against them.

Yes TAMU is doing better from the 0-5 start, but I'm not THAT impressed yet. Clearly they're a good team that was devastated by suspensions and injuries, but nothing about them makes me think that we can't take them at home. I will say that the league is better this year so that you can't half-arse any games at home.

I think we need 10-8 in conference at least and 1-1 in the tourney with a win against Okie lite to guarantee an at large bid.

I'm confused by the Hogville comparison. My experience with Hogville is simply just a bunch of dumbasses posting stupid stuff.

So, when people say that here do they mean a. it's a bunch of people that toe the line and only say positive stuff or b. it's a bunch of people spout stupid stuff and bitching too much?

Not that big. We are getting eliminated in the first round the of the NCAA tournament either way. We have neither the heart or defensive attitude to go any further. IMO

I think we are a dangerous tournament team but playing a 1 seed in the 2nd round will not do us any favors. This was our year to get to that 3 seed and instead we squandered it and will end up on the bubble.
