From what I am hearing, Jonesboro is just up the road a bit so folks here know a lot of folks there, the tornado really did a number on them. Entire sections are gone.

Luckily mostly what was hit hard was businesses. Most of which were closed because of the virus. On a normal Saturday in March it could have killed hundreds. Tracked really close to a ton of residential areas but half a mile over and it could have been devastating.

I texted with a friend there and that’s basically what she said about it happening now- that the virus saved lives yesterday. No deaths and 6 minor injuries.

Right. Jonesboro dodged a bullet on that one. You can rebuild a business. Recovering from losing people is a lot harder.

SpauldingHog disappointed that the tornado didn't wipe out some retirement homes.

Most of our Saturdays are spent right in the area it hit. We flee for the big city much like the rest of NEA on Saturday.

This could have been really bad.
