With one of the most dynamic college football players of the last 25 years. That's the point. Show me the Heisman winner on the 2013 roster.

Is he dynamic because of his talent or due to Bobby putting him in a situation to succeed?
I've seen some of those games. There are guys running 25 yds wide open.

Those were the offensive linemen after throwing lookout blocks.

Lamar Jackson is from the area we are visiting this week. His friends from highschool and others claim Bobby P is doing absolutely no training for the kid, he is going it alone.

How many of you believe this... after hearing some of the stories, I might actually believe it. BP is still the absolutely gutless turd he has always been fwiw.. but a good O coach still.

When you're trotting out the aforementioned Price Holmes and Austin Jones at LB, you're also going on give up an insane amount of points.

Thank you for those horrible flashbacks Feral.

I'll never forget taking both my son and my dad to Fan Day in August of 2013. We walked out on the floor of BWA where most of the players were, and my dad turned to me and said "shite, we're going to be terrible this year - you're bigger than half these guys."

I remember them touting Austin Jones as our MLB and thinking "who in the heck is that?"

Fun times

Austin Jones

Idk who the frick this even is.

To be honest I literally listened on radio a few times during 2012 after ulm. In 2013 I watched very little. I barely remember that year. I remember all the pick 6s. I knew we were gonna be bad. I remember the sec anonymous coaches one said we were gonna be Terrible. He said jonathan Williams would be a good player but basically they didn't know a soul besides him on our roster as no one in their sec circles had recruited half our players.

Yep, I remember that article. Pretty spot on.

Athlon - Opposing coaches size up the 2013 Razorbacks

quote:

They are going to be terrible. What they are doing now, it’s the product of bad recruiting. They have a long way to go. That’s nothing against the new coach (Bret Bielema). But they are going to be terrible in Year 1." ...

"They are really going to struggle. What happened was they had eight starters who got injured, and they were fighting an uphill battle all of last year. [/b]I think they’ll struggle up front, they’ll struggle in the secondary, the linebackers should be average." …[/b]

"They are going to be slim in a lot of spots. It’s going to take them three years to get a good foundation. It’s a product of bad recruiting — which is typical of a Bobby Petrino school. It’s the same thing that happened at Louisville that got Steve Kragthorpe fired. Petrino didn’t leave him any players. It’s the same thing at Arkansas. They have no players on defense. Petrino would load up on offense and leave the cupboard bare. That’s why he can’t ever get over the hump." …

"If you want to be competitive in the SEC, you better have big, strong defensive linemen, physical guys, and lockdown corners. If you don’t have that, you don’t have a chance. And right now they don’t have that." …

"I don’t know really how good they are up front offensively, but I’m kind of skeptical based on what I know."

"I think the young running back, Jonathan Williams, is going to be good for them. We liked him out of high school.”

I remember that and most of our fans, at the time, thought that comment was BS. Turns out that coach was spot on.
