Getting rid of Pittman would be a mistake.

The only thing that could realistically happen, and work would be if Pittman stepped down at the end of the year and Freeze came in because he didn’t want to deal with the clusterfrick that is Auburn.

Read a couple of posts up. The defense was on the field for damn near the entirety of the first half. What the hell do you expect?

Briars is responsible for KJ's development

If this team lost out then I can see him retiring or go to a different position within the program.

Then again it wouldn't take losing out.

Well, yes he is, as a matter of fact. He’s been here 3 years. Who else would be?

I’ve said all year Sam’s demeanor has been much different than last year even when he wins.

This performance after signing with Sexton and the optics of that just isn’t going to sit well.

Goes without saying, but something about this team is way off.

There doesn’t seem to be much cohesion or unity. We don’t seem to have any locker room leadership. We seemingly always come out super flat. The coaches, especially Pittman, seem to be just going through the motions. Even the “turn that damn jukebox on” clips on Hogs+ in the locker room after wins have felt subdued and forced.

If this year ends with a dud, ticket sales will plummet.

I appreciate Sam and his effort, but unless there's a change in recruiting, or with the coordinators, this isn't going to work.

Sucks because I wanted him to be a unicorn.

Is it wrong to selfishly want this at this point because I’m trying to buy the two seats next to mine right now.

I would be fine winning this game and just squeeze out a 6-6 season but that loss is a program momentum killer.

Maybe now Sam “I’m not a cliche guy” Pittman will put up that stupid arse bowling ball and stop the TTDJBO stuff.

Our fans are obsessed with dumb shite and catch phrases. From “we didn’t come to paint” to “uncommon” to “left lane hammer down” to “turn that damn jukebox on.” We’re suckers for that dumb shite.

all of that stuff is fun, and makes $$$ when you are winning. But losing like this, it becomes void and jaded.
