I’m caring less and less for Pittman’s MO as this season plays out. Somebody said KJ was sick this week. The announcers talked about a bum shoulder. Whatever was going on with KJ, after that first half, trotting KJ out for the second half should mean being called on the carpet by Yurachek, and fans calling for a change. It’s not like we haven’t seen that Hornsby is quite capable of running this offense effectively. Can he do it while the O line is in a fricking coma? Who knows, but he probably would have been no worse than KJ.
I was at the game and the anger toward Briles and Pittman was palpable, especially in the first half. Lots of “this is the Missouri State game all over again” and anger about continuing to frick the dog in the run game and pass well short of the sticks.
There were lots of calls in my section for Hornsby to start the second half. Of course Pittman was/is too stupid, lazy, and stubborn to try to change what isn’t working.

If he doesn't get the bowl game, he so desires... Is he on the hot seat?
He should be, period!

I was at the game and it was a terrible experience and it had nothing to do with the loss.
I was in the upper section with my dad before the game. Some drunk karen kept bitching to my dad that he kept taking to much seat. Dad told her you keep putting your feet on my back.
I left do go do my business and dad left and told me someone stepped on my phone thus almost falling down.
I have never seen so many white trash and degenerates in all my games that I have gone to. No class and I didn't have these problems on the lower section.

Getting rid of Pittman would be a mistake. We almost got lucky with Kiffin, who most schools wouldn't have hired, but we ended up with Pittman because our options were slim. Pittman is changing that and not just by winning games. He's well liked and getting rid of him soon will put us right back to where we were, except the next failed coach will demand a much higher salary.
Pittman is a CEO coach, so let him act like a CEO and find new coordinators. Especially a new OC, because Briles isn't getting it done. We have far too much talent on offense to struggle as much as we do.

He didn't change anything except losing to Liberty at home because of poor coaching.

Doesn’t matter. Pittman is too deferential to his coordinators, especially Briles.
Hornsby practiced all week as QB1 and Briles wanted to roll with a banged up KJ, and Pittman simply deferred to him.
It Pittman is constantly deferring to his coordinators, then why are we playing him what we are?

Briles will go to someone else and the begin tearing it up as an OC. He will come back and beat our arses...
Pittman is holding him back imho. But, whatever...

Can we talk about Odom

We can, but we shouldn’t if you are talking about getting rid of him. He hasn’t been great, especially recruiting, but he has been dealing with the offense absolutely murderng the defense all season.

I wouldn't know, but Pittman doesn't seem like the type to hold anyone back. Either way, he's the boss, so he's going to sink or swim with his coordinators.
I realize Odom and Pittman are close, so I'm willing to give Odom more of a break, even though the defense hasn't been great, either. I don't care what the stats may say, the offense is the bigger concern, imo. The offense has too many good players to lose low scoring games against A&M and Liberty.
Also, what's up with our blocking? I haven't been looking at it, but it seems like defenders keep getting to the ball before the handoff even occurs. Seems like a possible strategy problem or players are just making a lot of mistakes.

This loss wasn’t on the defense.
We have zero depth and they kept getting their asses hung out to dry by our offense doing frickall for the entirety of the first 3 quarters. The defense forced punts on Liberty’s first 3 drives. Liberty’s second TD was the fault of Pittman for panicking and going for it on 4th and 5.
Meanwhile, the first 7 drives for our offense were as follows:
Punt (3 plays)
Punt (5 plays)
Punt (3 plays)
Punt (3 plays)
Turnover on downs
Punt (6 plays)
Interception (4 plays)
3 three and outs, 5 punts, a turnover on downs, and a pick in the end zone.
But yeah, let’s blame this on Odom and the defense despite the fact they didn’t give up a point in the second half.

We had the worst offensive line performance I’ve seen since Austin Allen was getting murdered every play in 2017 by our line.
They committed umpteen false starts, and the right side was getting destroyed every play. Dalton Wagner will have nightmares for years about what #11 did to him.

Feel free to elaborate. We’ve lost 4 games, the defense has done what it took to win 2 of those 4. This game was one of them. Offense has been shitting the bed more often than not this season.
