He was an interim. Not a hire.

John Elle counts as more of a hire than him.

It's funny the things people try and convince themselves of sometimes.

An interim with the option of becoming the full time guy. And he still has to be hired and accept.

Dumbest shite I've seen you post.

That's not a hire. It's an appointment one game into the season.

It certainly is a hire.
If you look up the razorbacks football page on Wikipedia will you see Kines listed as a head coach for Arkansas?
He was fricking hired to do the job. I promise he wasn't working for free and under the barrel of a gun. He was offered the job and he accepted. He was hired.

You need a job man.

Or a life.

This shite is just dumb.

Lol.
Touchy about it, eh? I'm guessing that's because you were one of the ones screaming that Broyles would never hire someone without previous head coaching experience.

Fine then. Remove Kines. It still isn't true.

These narratives are only useful if they suit someone's agenda.

For instance, if they make a serious push to get Tim Horton you won't hear this bullshite about Frank Broyles would never do this. Tim Horton has never even been a fricking coordinator yet there are people up there that want that guy as the only other option if Gus turns us down.

Lol. What a cluster frick

I mean do we really know that to be the case or someone just threw it out as an idea at one point. I'm sure you don't even believe that is going to happen.

Therefore, Venables shouldn't be taken off the table because Broyles would never hire a coordinator.

Like everyone was screaming about only yesterday.

Whats the point of "what would Frank do"? He passed on some of the best/most legendary coaches in history and was at best a C- Coach evaluator. I flew private jets in NWArk for 21 years....and personally flew candidates to be Arkansas coach dozens of times. Amazing that the punt on third down guy is so favorable memorialized.
