1st day of alcohol on me!

So far Pio and I are in one canoe. He's in the front and I'll be hitting it from the back like usual.

Cheshire needs a warm body in his boat.

frick kayaks. We're doing the Spring River in old beat up aluminum canoes like the dirty 1970s.

Feel free to submit your application here.

Get a raft if you have more than 2. You don't have to worry about losing all of your beer and shite when you flip.

You can get as drunk as you want.
However, it takes a lot of work to paddle all of those drunk people around.

I never flip. I'm (no joke) a competition canoe racer who has competed in multiple ultra marathon Missouri River 340 races (aka MR 340 - nonstop 340 mile 4 day/4 night marathon race) as well as sprint races on other rivers across Missouri and a race in Louisiana known as the Tour du Teche.

Flipping is for amateurs.

I plan on it!

Which is why rafting is for amateurs.

Tempting. But my inner ear problem means I have the worst sense of balance in the world. No matter how good you are in a canoe I guarantee I will find a way to flip that sucker.

About what date were y'all looking at going?

pfft- i can flip a canoe like no other. my last (last for a reason) trip to the buffalo i flipped us 3 times, once being about 2 minutes after we took off. there were young kids and old huge people just floating right past us like it was no issue at all, tra la la la la.

I literally do back flips off my canoe and can reenter while in the water (known as a wet entry).

I have an incredible sense of balance.

a-hole- i do not. i lost a flip flop on that trip too and at one point was sitting on the bank thinking maybe being the female tom hanks from castaway wouldn't be too bad of a life if it meant not having to get back in the canoe.

Gonna be brutally honest...you sound like a normal female on a float trip.

If you want to feel really embarrassed by your clumsiness, take a moment to watch the female ultra marathon canoe racers. Those women are beasts! Those type of female athletes would piss most women off simply due to envy and jealousy.

If this seriously turns into a real thing, it could be an epic good time.

Its all good, we've all flipped. I kind of miss the adrenaline rush when i was a kid of not knowing if I was going to flip or not.

Hell, nowadays I just paddleboard the Spring from dam 3 to High falls

Surprised you can even get in the river wiht all the damage that Tyson's chicken houses have done to the Arkansas water table. It's got to be a cesspool of e-coli, antibiotics, and growth hormones.

That is a concern only when its flooding, other streams and small lakes get abused by Tyson growers far greater than the Spring
