First time I’ve been disappointed in overall coaching and preparation under Pittman

4th and 1 and everybody in the damn stadium knew the play coming but the coaching staff.

Offense flowing one direction and throwing back across the field. Everyone in the stadium had seen that offense before.

It was damn infuriating when there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it.

I fully believe this game would have been the one instance where it would’ve benefited to have a damn Hog fan sitting next to our coaches in the press box.

Rant over. Move on to aTm.

Pitt explained it pretty well in his post game. Thought they had them in quarters. When you have 3 lineman, 1 backer and 7 db’s it should open the door for a decent run. Didn’t work out.

He was much more smartassed in his post game tonight. Likely because he was mad.

Said this on another board, but when they lined up on 4th and 1 you know there were a ton of people in that stadium who said “oh shite they’re gonna run Cowboy Get It.”

I put the over/under at 500 people and I’m taking the over.

Way over... DJ WIlliams said the same basically. Something like "We had all seen that before and knew it was coming"

They even knew it was coming. Simeon Blair went full head up rear and let the guy go then remembered it when he was about 10 yards past him.

I love Petrino's offense. Can't help it. The man's a fricking genius on that side of the ball. He pulled a vulnerable secondary's pants down in front of everyone tonight.

A lot of flukey/unlucky stuff on the offensive side of the ball tonight but we made the plays when we needed to. Definitely not a game you're gonna hang on the fridge but we get out with a W and move on to next week.

I took a Missouri State fan to the game with me and was literally telling him about the time Petrino did that to ULM in his second game here right as the play was about to happen. I looked like a damn genius to my friend as they walked in for the score.

# 1 reason I was worried about this game all week. We likely saw the best passing offense we will see all year outside of Will Rogers.

Petrino just puts so much stress on secondary’s with he runs routes and all those pick plays. Give him a QB who can throw and 3 guys who can catch and he will wear any secondary not named Georgia or Alabama out.

That QB played at Utah. The portal has changed college football and the FCS got a lot of good players from the FBS.

He was their starting QB in the 2018 PAC-12 title game.

The portal is helping close the gap with the FBS. I have noticed these games are getting tighter.
