Coach B notes that Arkansas will wear red tops, white pants at home and all white on the road.

@BretBielema at podium "Fans will see some new things during games to interact with the crowd" #LRTD

Jump Around? Hope not.

@BretBielema on podium "Open up for some questions. Glad to see there's no bar in the back. So questions should be reasonable" #LRTD

"Kiero Small is an angry little man who plays fullback very, very well." - Bret Bielema

Coach B believes Arkansas senior center Travis Swanson is better than his last center who was a first-round NFL draft pick of the Cowboys.

@BretBielema drove a Corvette at "his old job". Came to Ark & didn't think a Corvette would go over well. So he now drives a @Jeep #LRTDC

@BretBielema "I know when they need a kick in the butt & I know when they need a pat on the back" #LRTD

Coach B notes that he loves the way this team is grinding now and it wasn't something they were not used to doing so.

Coach B notes that he has done 65 speaking engagements of some kind since he was hired

Coach B went by War Memorial Stadium on the trip here so his video guy could get used to angles for the games there.

Hogs down to 6 scholarship receivers for opener; D'Arthur Cowan had foot surgery, screw implanted, out 6-8 wks. Hurt in punt drill, CBB says

anthracite is out. Hogs will dress traditional at home, with black socks and shoes, CBB says. All white, from helmets on down, on road.

The black socks/shoes is <3, screams ground and pound.

Then switch it up to white/white on the road with the pimp new white helmets.

anthracite forever linked to JLS like the APEX jerseys to Barry Lunney Jr.

Hey, at least we won a game in the anthracite jerseys. A lot of other teams can't say that about their black jerseys.

Skipper came from a team that was predominantly a run-oriented team that averaged 35.8 points while advancing to the semifinals of the state playoffs. He said that has been his biggest adjustment from high school to college.

“The speed of the game and throwing the ball,” Skipper said. “We really didn't throw the ball much so I'm learning the pass sets and how the defense works."

I'm not gonna lie, I absolutely loved the anthracite jerseys.

This probably means the red socks are going away as well which is what really pisses me off.

He sounds like he's ready to play.

Can't be passing to anyone when you don't have receivers, I think we have just enough healthy ones to run the wishbone this season.

Maybe they'll bring back an all black look at some point...

Or some other alternate look. Throwback ftw

Wonder if McKay would have transferred had all this WR injury stuff had happened before he left?

Mekale McKay, the worst decision maker ever. Well as far as this football team.

Bert used a throwback while at Wisconsin, FWIW.

A 64, 95, and a pre-60s throwback would be cool.

The 50s era would allow a throwback on the road since it uses a white helmet.
