Green cost us multiple games this season

I disagree with the Green hate. The games he "cost us" were games we wouldn't have been in without him. His running ability changes the way a defense plays you. You take the turnovers with dynamic ability like his. He needs to work hard and improve over the offseason like he did last year.

He is a better option than Singleton. There. I said it. Meet me at Sonic if you disagree.

The only defense that gave up more points per game this season in the SEC was Mississippi State.

If you want to be lazy put all of that on turnovers, they were also 13th in the conference in yards per game.

The defense sucked. It only looked good compared to the historically bad defenses we've fielded lately.

TWill is overrated as hell.

Tie game headed to OT.

Oh wait they fumbled on their own 30.

Last I checked, that doesn't automatically award the other team points. Seems like the defense has a hard time keeping people from scoring, seeing as how only State was worse than us in that regard.

Skill issue?

Williams wasn’t that bad outside of the ole miss game.

Agree'd.

I think TWill is good, and would be really good with even talent/depth.

Our D was all that kept us in the game while the offense did nothing against CFP teams Texas and Tennessee, winning one of those.

We're 8-4 this season if we don't fumble and muff punts. I think that's the most frustrating part of the season, left multiple wins on the table from self inflicted mistakes.

ide note, not aimed at you Drewbie, why are so many melting down ITT? We met expectations for the season and got back to a bowl. Yeah Sam should be gone but why melt over a solid season?

Every team in the nation is going to go through a ton of attrition this offseason and Sam, for all his flaws, has shown that he can pick up plenty of talent from the portal.

agree with this overall... But, it seems drastic that several said, "I am staying" and now... Aren't. We need some of the upper classman to hang around to keep the awesome culture that Sam has built.. Man...

We gave up 18 more total yards on defense than Georgia in the SEC and they won the conference.

agree with all of this. Not you that said it, but someone said twill was feast or famine and blitzed constantly, which I agree with completely, but they also said something about him having no depth. That issue isn’t Twill. That’s Pittman. The way I see Pittman as a ceo coach, is basically if you had a fan as coach. He notices the obvious and tries to address it and lets the coordinators coach. “Damn, we keep getting beat in the secondary I need to get better corners” etc. is what I think of when I think of what Pittman actually needs to do. A GM of sorts. If our talent isn’t getting better or developing under Pittman he’s failing at his job. Besides the bottom line of wins and losses.

ETA: I will say it think there’s A LOT of really good qbs in the portal this year with untapped potential that we would be stupid to not at least test the waters for. You can be okay with taylens positives and negatives, but at the same time realize if we could possibly find someone with his positives without his negatives we should pursue it.

Transfers never feel good in general, and it looks like another year of a massive exodus which isn't a good sign for program health.

However, I said it at the end of the Missouri game and I still feel the same way now, I do not care about anyone leaving this team outside of Singleton. Same reason I wouldn't care if TWill left. I feel similarly to you. The only loss that truly bothers me this year is OK State, but I'm also not super attached to anyone based on the complete inability to execute in clutch moments this year.

They don't turn the ball over first play after a big stop either.

And the offense got the lead back.

What did the defense do after that?

Razorbacks fumble away Battle Line Rivalry redemption

"It was very frustrating, because we had just got the ball on the 50, we go right down and score and we take the lead 14-7," Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman said postgame. "They have a long lengthy drive, we hold them to a field goal, we get the ball back, two plays or one play later we give it back to them.

You are blaming a loss on a fumble in the 3rd quarter when we had the lead with less than 2 minutes left in the game.

Please get help.

Yeah because I understand football and wearing a defense out with stupid turnovers after long drives. You should try it some time.

Clearly not if you think a fumble an entire quarter before is responsible for a complete defensive breakdown while playing from ahead with the game on the line.

Maybe if you spam it and lash out one more time it'll convince me. Makes you look really cool, too.
