One night at Doc's we saw Todd Day get punched in the nose. Some guy jumped from a table yelling a not so nice word and punched him in the nose. It was crazy!

slight misunderstanding with the head of security, he thought we were playing chicken we were really just kinda drunk trying to drive an old arse 60's model land cruiser from the gate to our parkingspot. No power steering is a bitch, so they poured out all our legal alcohol and left us with the pint of shine and other goodies and turned us loose back into the world.
Ended up with a bar story though because that saturday in the spirit of not ruining the vacation we spent 14 hours in a bar called the speak easy in ozark. Turns out your a celebrity if you get tossed out of a festival and then spend the entire next day in a bar drinking heavily from about 8am till 2am with short breaks for lunch and dinner. only one friend got in a fight, I had everything from a hulu girl to shamoo hitting on me. Ended up in some shitty motel we got overcharged for.
oh yea and frick the head of security at harvest, this is just in case he posts here. We tried explaining the situation to him but he was a real cocksucker about the whole thing. Should have charged those assholes with grand theft auto for getting in the car and driving it up to be towed. If I wasn't pretty sure I was getting a felony or two I definitely would have called the cops on their dumbasses.

Brawled in a little bar in Eureka Springs.
Beat the shite out of a guy on the dance floor at Dave's on Dickson.
Oh the memories.

It was a little north of 412 a bit of a ways behind the Fiesta Liqours store not far from 540. I'm pretty sure it's been shut down for a long time. Was a security nightmare.

Anywhere with 2k people is a security nightmare. add in that it was a nightclub in springdale and you might as well go check out the bar scene in south Memphis.

I can't remember most of my bar stories cause I had a real bad habit of getting blacked out drunk.
A few times I put a cooler of beer behind George's, behind that rod iron fence. Would then go back there once inside and get beers through the fence. Also always kept a pint of whiskey or rum in my boot sleeve.
Don't remember the bar, but it had an outside patio on the 2nd floor. There was a fire escape on the back. I climbed up the fire escape with 2 large bottles of champagne and handed them over the rail to a buddy. Apparently at some point someone dropped one of the bottles and it broke, well after I had left. Didn't find out about it until I showed up the next night and found out I was banned from the establishment. Someone had told them I was responsible for sneaking it in.

Doc's was a fun place. Your post reminded me of the night one of Nicky Davis' boys pulled a gun on a friend of mine in the Lokomotion parking lot over a trashy girl from our hometown. They called him Cornrow, Cornbread, Corncob or something ghetto like that.
I knew Arkansas hoops was heading for bad times when we could keep up during pick up games. Arlin Bowers would school us, and send us home crying to mama. The late 90's group usually beat us, but the games were a lot closer than they should've been.

Seems like a hundred years ago or so, I was coming out of a disco south of town on 71 with a young lady and some idiot decided she was HIS gf. To make a long story short, I didn't know until I woke up in jail that one of the guys I hit with a beer bottle was an off-duty cop moonlighting as a security guard. Biggest problem is that there were 2 of them.
Was not a fun ending to the evening.

I have no knowledge of this place, but reading this stirred up a memory.
Passed through home (FSM) on the way to NOLA for spring break, and I let one of my high school friends talk to into going out to this disco - and bringing my college friends that were going to NOLA with me.
Long story short - we end up in this metal building out in the middle of someone's cow pasture just across the Oklahoma line. And because it WAS a cow pasture, the rain that came down while we were inside turned the entire "parking lot" into a mud pit. There was a tow truck there, but he was charging $50 to "unstick" people, and I was out of cash. I had to call my parents at 2am and explain where I was, and that I couldn't get my car out of the parking lot.
The good thing about going to a cow pasture disco is that there were some guys there with a 4x4 with a winch on the front that took pity on us.
