They will throw Sandlin vs DBU, you have to in the 2-3 matchup.
If it was me I wouldn't, but that's because I view DBU so poorly.

quote:Didn't they sweep one of the Mississippi schools earlier this year? I thought it was Ole Miss but I guess it would have had to have been State since they don't have any top 25 RPI wins.
You're massively underselling Southern Miss.

Yeah State the first series of the season.

It's no cakewalk but with how we've played at Baum we should mash straight through Supers with this pairing.

With that draw there is no excuse for Arkansas to not be the first team to punch there ticket to Omaha so DVH can collect yet another participation ribbon.

Yep, Luke Bandy is a NWA kid as well on DBU.

Coach Scott Berry said Monday he will, in all likelihood, send Sandlin to the mound against Dallas Baptist.
“We haven’t looked at it yet,” he said. “But the way we went in the (C-USA) tournament, I can’t see where that would be any different. I don’t buy into seeds. Everybody’s got a Friday night guy. The main thing for us is to win Game 1 and stay in that winner’s bracket.”

Any chance that Murph starts Friday and DVH saves Knight till Saturday?
Posted on 5/29/18 at 1:45 pm to Hogwarts
Yes, DVH said yesterday they haven’t decided yet. Kacey will be on more rest and has the type of arm that recovers faster. Were going to study the numbers and see how Blaine felt today and tomorrow.
Posted on 5/29/18 at 1:51 pm to Hogwarts
That's the assumption of what's going to happen. Murphy on Friday against ORU. Knight against winner of USM/DBU. Sandlin is expected to pitch against DBU, leaving Powers or Powell as the pitcher for Game 2. Powers did pitch pretty good in their conference tournament.
