There was a quiet confidence in Baum this weekend. This team is special. They're such a complete team, they'll just have to get over some nerves to make a big run. We need Campbell to unfrick his shite in a hurry though because he could be the difference.
Knight is great, Murphy is great, Cronin was hot before he got sick and he's already back tomorrow, Reindl, Loeske, all flame right now.
Murphy pitched a career long today, and he's becoming really consistent. If we can get 6-7 out of Knight and then 6-7 out of Murphy the next day, with our hitting? Hoo boy. Not a lot of teams in America are that loaded.

I still worry about our hitting and pitching depth.
Even today, teams in the postseason won't drop a pop fly. 2nd and 3rd 1 out and an infield pop up and fly ball to right the guy dropped for 2 runs. They would have tied it 1-1 in the 9th.
Our offense still too often rely's on the long ball. Which IF we can keep hitting them is fine, but ya know, live by the long ball die by the long ball.
There are flaws, but we should be able to get to Omaha at the least. How much damage can we do there? We'll see. I think this is probably a 2-2 or 3-2 team there.

Florida is the cream of the crop in the SEC. Everyone else is holding their clipboard.

Complete teams don’t play like hammered dog shite on the road. We have yet to win a road series all year. We play a salty UGA team at their place this coming weekend. If we hold true to form, we will go an entire season without winning an SEC road series. That’s pretty bad.
With all of that said, we are damn near unbeatable at home. Great teams (Florida) win at home and on the road.

Yeah, and Oregon State is extremely good too. They will be the 1 and 2 seeds, which means we'd have to beat one of them to reach the finals right? They'd be on opposite side of bracket.

We'll be tested today for sure with their Sunday guy. If Campbell can get us through 5 innings and we decide to get some hits we'll be fine.
