Do we have it in us to finish strong? Road trips to LSU and UGA bookend a home series with the Aggies. Getting swept last weekend really hurt.

Surprisingly it didn't hurt that much. Still projected national seed afterwards, obviously not changing after this weekend.
I have doubts about our pitching once we get into the postseason, but we're in good shape as of this point.
Edit: I do see what you mean regarding team psyche on the road, LSU and UGA will not be any better road trips than Starkvegas.

We always suck in Starkville. Lost last 8 games in Starkville going back to 2014 and getting them on Super Bulldog Weekend isn’t what any coach wants. Same could be said about LSU though, they are better than us most years and don’t make the mistakes that we have in recent years.

Campbell needs to be in the pen, bring Loseke up for Sunday.
Post season is riding on Cronin's health, hopefully it isn't mono.
Bull pen for the most part is total shite.
Lot's of issues need shored up if we're gonna make a run in OmaHog.

Campbell needs to be moved to the pen into the long-middle relief role.
He can’t or won’t consistently throw hard.
I’d start Bolden Sunday and see if he can get through the order once.
We need Loseke and Reindl at back end without Cronin.
Ramage and Rutledge must stop the wildness and wild pitches.
Not sure what Bonnin did to not get a shot but once in SEC play.

Rubber match in Alex Box should get his attention

Plus we only have a 1 game lead in the West with 6 of our last 9 on the road. Hope we can become road warriors. This is the year to win in Baton Rouge.

Not having Cronin is going to really suck. We need good news tomorrow.

Pitcher Matt Cronin and second baseman Carson Shaddy will be on the Razorbacks' 27-man travel roster, but neither are ready to play as of Wednesday, Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said.
Van Horn said trainers are "pretty sure" Cronin has mono and he has not yet been cleared to pitch.
"They don't feel like it's a super bad case of it," Van Horn said. "He's feeling better, but there is protocol we have to go by."
Van Horn said Shaddy has a "deep bruise" on his hand is about 70 percent back to full health, but "if we played tonight, I wouldn't start him."
Van Horn also announced Wednesday that he will not name a starting pitcher for Sunday until Saturday's game is over. Redshirt sophomore right-hander Isaiah Campbell pitched only 1 1/3 innings in a start against Alabama on Sunday and has a 4.17 ERA in 10 starts. Van Horn said Campbell could be used out of the bullpen at LSU.

Why carry two (especially one) unhealthy players over someone who could contribute?
Edit: Listened to DVHs presser, not much from it but Gates will start Friday at 1B.

Seems like a little gamesmanship to me. With the pitching issues last weekend, Dave isn’t carrying Cronin if he can’t contribute.

Is it possible to pitch with mono, even a light case?

Not sure, I had mono when I was 16, didn't feel like picking up a bat much less pitching.
Medical technology has come light years since then.
Like Hawgeye said, it doesn't make sense to let him travel and not play.

Because DVH isn't trying to win the SEC or even the SECwest, he doesn't feel pressure to do so.
When there is no pressure to win you end up with situations like this, taking less than your best available on the road to be swept by LSU.
