I'm not really sure where else to ask this. So hopefully someone can answer this for me here. I saw we have some otuher stuff on this board not Arkansas sports related so forgive me if it's not the right spot.
Hopefully someone knows Arkansas state laws here
I have a girlfriend who is pregnant. She is threatening to have it and keep me away from it. What could I potentially do to keep that from happening. I have text messages with her admitting to it being mine if that helps.

if it is this contentious and stays this way.
Get an attorney, get a DNA test by showing the texts to the attorney, court, etc.
If she goes after support, you will have at least visitation. More if your life is considered by the court or arbitration to be decent enough.
My experience is as a consultant / counselor...
We is our resident attorney as well?

Don't know your situation but if she requests child support then you will have rights or at least figure it out in court. If she doesn't claim you as the father then you'll have a legal battle that will come down to DNA. Just my opinion. Best of luck!

You would file an action for paternity once the child is born as under Arkansas law a child born out of wedlock only has the mother as a legal parent. So as a father you have to initiate a court action to establish your legal rights. DNA testing can be a part of that process also but TBH in most of the cases I have ever handled it is not an issue that the individual is in fact the biological father.
When the paternity action gets filed, then the issues of child support, custody, and visitation get litigated, basically the same as occurs as in a divorce case with children. Child support is usually set based on the Arkansas Child Support Guidelines with the noncustodial parent paying support and oftentimes the judge will use a visitation schedule to set visitation. With respect to who gets custody of the child the standard is what is in the best interests of the child. Some or all of these issues can be agreed upon by the parties, same as in a divorce case.
Either party can file the action as oftentimes the mother will file it to obtain child support (and the Office of Child Support Enforcement may pursue a case for child support in its own right regardless whether either party has filed a paternity action), and the father may file one to establish his legal rights to pursue custody or visitation and child support.
These actions are usually brought in the county where the mother and child reside. You pay a $165 filing fee plus service of process fees plus attorney fees. And yes I'd advise getting an attorney unless you believe you have the legal skills to navigate the process on your own.

Wherever she lives, just go ahead and contact every attorney in her area. Do that first. Then follow Litigator's advice.

ur kinda fukt.
First thing first. DNA Test when it is born. Never go off the word of a trifling bitch. The type that is already using the child as a bargaining chip is capable of things you can never imagine.
Second, as hard as it is to do, approach this as a war. Survival is not the goal, winning is.
Third, if you love her and want a life with her and the kiddo everything I could possibly tell you is moot and you're just going to take it on the chin and be a dad. Anything you ever wanted in life takes a back seat and the child comes first.
good luck and stay strong.
