Yeah if we get Matt Campbell I’ll take back all of the bad things I said about Hunter. Arguably a top 5 college coach in the country currently.

No, kid had a heat stroke. Toxic program. Independent investigation found that the coaching environment and practices significantly contributed to failure to give care to a player having a medical emergency. Durkin is lucky to even be an assistant.

A couple people on 247 said that Campbell has a clause in his contract that he gets 500k if he wins 8 games, he has 7.

Why? The current state of our football program is on Hunter. Also, it was reported on here that Campbell's camp reached out to the UofA and not Hunter calling him to see if there was any interest. I'll give him credit for closing the deal if he gets it done, but I'll still have some reservation about whether he could just go and hire a big coach on his own.
