Both being great recruiters, bet the Texas connections and the maturity difference were the deciding factors in Chad's favor.

Not to mention Kiffin can be considered a flight risk, while Chad can be locked down for the foreseeable future considering Jimbo is locked down at A&M.

Morris recruited at the same level or worse than the previous coaching staffs at SMU. He certainly did not stand out in any way that would make me think he was anything other than average at best at recruiting.

And here is the reason we should have hired lane, but remember guys he tweets too much. Good thing we dodged that bullet

I can honestly say, I never wanted Kiffin; way too many variables with him that would be risky for AR, plus, he's just nuts.

It is actually, college football is all about recruiting and flash to draw recruits. Kiffin has mastered getting his programs name n the news nearly every day...that's exactly what programs in a rut like Arkansas need,

Kiffin would have been a great hire no doubt.

But Morris with his offense, Texas connections, and stability are a better fit for Arkansas. Now lets see if he can land a great DC and strength coach

Hmmmm, I wonder why that would be

He should have been tutoring those HS kids that couldn't get accepted.
