Brey has some serious issues as does his mother.
His Mom and grandfather spent a fortune with his training starting in the 8th grade. Enough money was spent before he came to the U of A that they had to file bankruptcy. During his tenure at the U of A, Brey had multiple back surgeries which led to more debt for the family.
His Mom was dating a man that had ties to Allbarn, no names mentioned, that promised the Cook family that Brey would be a Tiger/War Eagle.
As a friend of the family, the Cook family have been through a lot since his senior year in High School. They are broken, sad and tired that Brey didn't fulfill their NFL dreams.
Fat arse picked him up as an assistant then fat arse got fired. I'm sure he's arse hurt about that and he probably needed to vent on twitter. I haven't talked to them since football season, but I'm sure they are hurting.
The Cook's are good people.

People invest in many things, stocks, mutuals etc...
The fact that they invested $$$ in Brey doesn't make them idiots. They just didn't get a good return on their investment, shite happens.

Thanks for posting. I wonder if his season pass has been working still since he was let go or if this was the first time he tried to use it. I can see being frustrated if it was working before now. That doesn’t forgive him though for taking to Twitter to tear the program down. Hopefully he is smart enough to apologize for that one.

However, not achieving your dream is no excuse to lash out at your former employer and alma mater on social media. Take the Razorbacks out of the situation and it's still a horrible idea. I don't know many employers who are going to want to hire someone who trashes a past employer publicly. It's a hard lesson but hopefully Brey will learn from this.

The funny thing about the original (deleted) tweet is that he would have had a whole different reaction if he had taken off the last sentence about Arkansas being a "bottom-tier program".
People would have been asking him what happened. They would have been mad tweeting our AD and the ticket office. Someone would have tried to given him free tickets but NOPE..... he had to go dumb and trash the Razorbacks.
