From what I can piece together he wasn't admitted into the game..... why? - no clue.
Being an alumni and/or former player doesn't grant you special privileges.
However, if he wanted entry (even for free) he could have called the foundation and someone would have hooked him up.
If he has a problem then he should wait and call the ticket office in the morning and possibly go visit the foundation face to face.
I've never understood why people go on message boards or twitter to bitch when you can get things done in person and you usually are rewarded for doing so.

I don't understand the need to vent and bitch on social media. Especially when you are going to piss off people who could eventually help you make money.
I promise you ---- if any former player wanted a free ticket to the game then all they would have to do is call the foundation. They would have got the ticket office to give him a ticket. It might have not been in a suite or court-side but he would have been in the game.
Seriously..... I guarantee you that I could call the foundation and tell them that I really would like a ticket for the (insert non sold out game here) and they would hook me up with a discount or a pair of tickets.
Someone on that side of the office usually has complimentary tickets that they can't always use and if you are a good member they will reward you. Of course part of that is not begging for tickets all the time.
I've had issues and troubles with my account or because the ticket office messed up and the foundation always fixes it and they will always do so with a smile as long as you treat them with respect and act professionally.

I was screwed over royally last season, with the new seats and being knocked out of my club seating. Promised first crack with others in my situation, at the newer seating.
I called, and called, and still had no contact. Paid my donations, notta.....
I have been promised that it will be taken care of this year. We shall see,, haven't heard anything as of yet. But one thing I will not do, put it on twitter with expectations of things I don't deserve. This attitude is enough to cause things to go south quickly! I will wait a few weeks, and call again....

It sucks that you had to deal with that crap but I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has had issues.
The problems I've usually incurred happen at the hands of the ticket office. The foundation usually has to come behind them to clean their mess up.
It helps sometimes if you live close enough to meet them face to face.
