Conway has quietly been doing some great work and upping their game. Having two colleges, low cost of living, good diverse career opportunities and being close to Greer’s Ferry Lake and just close enough makes it probably the most attractive city in Central AR if you’re actually looking closely. But that’s my hot take.

They’ve got 3 colleges

Which allows a steady influx of young talent. There’s great chemistry in Conway

Yeah. My bad. Was thinking I missed someone and then was like “oh yeah! CBC”. Conway’s got a lot that they’re working with for sure.

ETA. Not everyone from NWA hates Central Arkansas. It’s good to see everywhere in our state do better. I sincerely wish there was a way to help the Delta. From what I hear, they’re getting some help though in terms of cleaning things up within a lot of the local gov’ts, etc.

Do you like guaranteed stopping when you’re driving as opposed to being able to breeze through most of the time?

Show me a person that doesn't like a round a bout and I'll show you a fricker that doesn't know how to drive. I prefer for traffic to constantly move and flow, therefore I love round a bouts.

People who hate round a bouts love travelling Don Tyson from end to end and its' 63 red lights.

If they didn’t have crinkle cut fries, they would be a far superior hamburger spot than all others.

All stop lights should be straight and 3/8 of a mile apart.

For those 10 seconds, I’m free.

When I lived in Conway ever other guy I talked to loved the roundabouts.

Every woman I talked to hated them.

Not that I'm implying anything here, not me.

I'm never in a hurry so pretty much don't give a shite how long it takes me to get to a destination.

Get up earlier and plan your route.

Holler back when you get 65 or older.

Roundabouts are also safer in the sense that accidents tend to be fender benders instead of t-bones

I prefer NW Arkansas, don't get me wrong, but Conway would be at the top of my list if I had live anywhere else in the state.

Where I used to live, Marion, sounds really tempting, I mean you are closer to Memphis than most of Memphis. That is until you realize that the nice parts of Memphis are 45 minutes away on an interstate where the local drivers make Mad Max look like Driving Mrs. Daisy.

The point I was trying to make appears to have sailed over your head. It's okay. The world needs morons in it too. You serve a vital purpose in that role.

Don’t have to. I’m at work an hour early every day. You must be the person who thinks they’re in England when you see a roundabout.

How about you thank people my age for continuing to pay your social security benefits that I’ll never get. Commie. Also, that was tongue in cheek - I’ll be happy if I’m pissin’ vinegar at 65.

I do as well. But I’ve got to give them credit. Wife went to school there and love seeing it keep growing and improving when we go down.
