Anyone see that pic of Bert and the Sandy guy from NWA at the patriots game? Dude looks like he’s lost 150lbs. Would upload pic but on phone version.

Good for him, seriously. Nobody is more glad than me that he's not our head coach anymore but he's a good dude and I hope he's successful elsewhere.

I freaking hate that he couldn't get it done here. I mean, the possibilities of him being majorly successful while flaming the way he did, damn he was a great troll.... his winning % just wouldn't back it up.

I like Bert. He just didn't understand the importance of winning at the University. I know he didn't go into this thinking 6-6 would cut it, but he didn't go the extra mile.
I wish no ill will on the guy, happy for him and his family.

Hell, what should we have expected when his boss didn't seem to put a priority on winning. He flat said he wanted us to be more like Vandy. Bert had no pressure to win.
Do you remember when Petrino won at UGA and Bobby and Jeff were so pumped after the game? Seems like Long's drive left with Bobby.

I hold no ill will towards the Bertster. He was the wrong coach for this job and it showed in the on field results. Not every coach is suited for this job.
I also think he realized that he was in over his head fairly early in his tenure here and that lead to a lot of stress eating and boozing. I wish him nothing but the best and I'm glad to see he's gotten his weight under control.

Good for him. Never hated him...just think he was in over his head here. I wish him success and congrats on knocking the Mrs. up again.
