I’d jump over the moon for a pair of those.

I am the first to dog on Pringle, and it's much deserved, but I don't know how a big is supposed to play defense in this league.

If you are straight up and the ballhandler drives into your chest creating contact, foul, if they throw arms into yours, foul.

At some point the whole SEC way of doing things is going to have to change.

I can't wait till the NCAA tournament when common sense comes back to officiating somewhat.

Unless you're playing North Carolina.

Does that lock us as a 4?

No. We'd have to have a strong run in the conference tournament to move up a line.

Purdue is collapsing. Lost 4 of last 6

Toppinless Tech is 3-3 in their last 6

Its not that big of a stretch to think we can squeak in a 4 seed.

Losing first game at the tournament or another blowout to Florida would eliminate that hope though.

I agree, but he asked if it locked us and we're not there yet. We need more wins. We can't just go one and done in the conference tournament. Vandy was already the top 5 seed and ended the season with a win against Tennessee. We would realistically need Vandy to go one and done or two separate 4 seeds to open up.

I wouldn't feel completely locked as a 4 seed unless we win at least two in the tournament. I think getting to a Bama rematch and winning would do it. Anything less than that and we'll probably be crossing our fingers and hoping things fall our way.

According to effeincy rankings this year’s 1 seeds are going to be historically good. If we’re locked into the 4/5 line there’s no point of risking injury in the sec tournament. Rest guys and let’s get ready to dance.

BTW, since Knox went down we’re 7-2 and rated the 7th best team according to tarvic.

That depends. If you can get out of Duke or Michigan's bracket, you do it. I'd much rather have to go through Arizona/UCONN/Florida. You also run the risk of getting USF as your 12 seed if you settle for the 5, which would be a horrible draw. They're legit.

Lunardi update shifted us out West to San Diego with top overall seed Duke but kept USF as the 12 and swapped Kansas with Tech which is much better. Not scared of Tech at all without Toppin. Still don't see any chance we beat Duke.

I really hate how getting a higher seed screws you, 4/5 seed has to play the 1 seed in the Sweet 16 whereas a 6 or 7 gets the 2 seed. Same reason earlier I said I'd rather lose to Mizzou and 1 and done SECT to slip to a 6 seed which would get us Michigan State as the 2 seed in the Sweet 16 and that is one I'd feel good on a W.

CBS also sends us out West but much better matchups. High Point would not be able to stop our guards at all and that Gonzaga team is their worst in years outside of Ike they have very little.

Interesting article here. He lands on Arkansas as a potential team that could stop Michigan from making it to Indianapolis
