The fact that you've now detached yourself from Gregg's ball and firmly latched to Beard's should be confirmation enough to you that he's the flavor of the weak.

I feel like there is this trendy thing to hate on Beard because casual fans are just now picking up on him. Most of the basketball fans have been talking about him since he made his run at UALR. Drew certainly doesn't fall into that first group.

They don't care. They're here to stir the pot. I knowingly indulge the stupidity from time to time. It's good entertainment.

No one seriously advocates a coach isn't qualified to be hired by listing a win. It's all trolling.

All I know is that Mike's suit game kicks the shite out of Beard's.

100% truth. If there was a natty for the suit game, we'd have been a powerhouse under Mike.

I think alot of it comes from Mike vs Beard stuff that happened last couple of years and posters on the Mike side of it are still defensive about it. Beard isn't just some random flavor of the month/week/year. Not sure how long it will take some to realize it.

No doubt about it. There's an iconic character with the same name who is a literal troll. Who likes to rip his shirt off and yell in people's faces.

He white knights for a coach that has advanced past the round of 32 22% of the time while downgrading a coach that has advanced past it 50% of the time

The people that actually watch college basketball do. The ones that don't are easy to spot.

He will wait for the Texas job to open, take the Texas job when offered, and watch the shine fade from his diamond like everyone else who's taken the illustrious Texas job before him.

On the bright side we would have a an aggy and a horn leading the 2 major programs on the hill. Sounds just awesome like the great state of Texas, the only state that can fly its flag about merica's.

Found Dale's hangup.

On the flipside, the Cowboys owe all of their "modern" success to Arkansas boys. Texas owes us a few.

I don't disagree but that doesn't change his ability as a coach. If your point is that you don't want him because you think he will make the leap to Texas, I could understand that at least.

My kids used to like to watch that and Adventure Time years ago. I still like watching both of them. Excellent cartoons.

I like how you can tell it's written by some 20 something year old party animal types but all the beer is replaced by soda. "Hey buddy, toss me a cold one. Aaayoooo!"

Wait till he takes over Texas then we will revist this ability.

Why is Shaka's name on some peoples list of interest? Why save Texas 13 mil this year by taking him off their hands so they can go get who they want anyway. Why not talk to Beard behind the scenes, let TTU and Texas sort out that pissing match between themselves, then go out and hire the better coach for half the price...

I like the time-setting. It was pretty much the last cartoon I watched. Loved all the old NES games and casette tapes. Drawn to attract the younger audience but it was definitely written for an older one. Great show.

Why do you assume this isn't exactly what we're doing with Sampson? At the very least you talk to Beard. If that situation is too hairy to be worth it, you get Sampson. Pretty sure that's been agreed upon as the best plan of attack.

Not sure, he isn't on mine but Ed asked me to add him so I did

Well, I don't think its going to be possible to add a better coach for half but I'm not Beard or bust. I just think he is the best coach on my list. As I said earlier though, I wouldn't be upset about any of the top 5 coaches. Musselman would be at the bottom of the 5 though.
