I’ll be there. Starkel’s going lead us to a blowout win of CSU. I want to see one of our 3 wins in person at least.

Go look on the light poles outside the stadium. They'll be free for any masochist willing to take them

Better question is if there is an attendance clause in his contract, and if not why not.

Paul Petrino had a clause of a minimum attendance required to keep Idaho on FBS level, which he/they didn't do.

Since when you suck, attendance/ticket sales fall of the map, I don't see why more contracts wouldn't contain clauses like this. Its a great way to have "cause" since their job isn't just to win games, but generate revenue for the athletic department. No one at the games means no concessions sold which means money lost. Any other field of work costing your employer money is more than enough cause for dismissal.

Why would we want to fire a coach in year 2? It's dumb as shite.

Because he isn't competent enough to perform the job he was hired to do.

Maybe he will get tired of being everyone's homecoming game and resign on his own.

I don't see how you could possibly know this. What level do you coach football at?

50k but about 5k leave when Hicks starts the game.

Or rather Starkel starts and Hicks replaces him in the first quarter because he makes a mistake.

Either way, Morris will find a way to slide his boy back in there

I don't know, his 33% winning percentage as a HC, his 21% at Arkansas, his 0% winning percentage in the SEC.

The fact his offense averages less than 20 points per SEC contest.

The fact he has had only one winning season as HC.

His winning percentage of 0% in bowl games.

His winning percentage of 0% against Power 5 competition.

Do you think the CEO of Ford has to spend a week on the assembly line to know that production isn't meeting their goals?

Do you think Ford would judge a brand new CEO of, say, an electric division simply because it wasn't competing with 100 years of gasoline, yet?

For some reason I doubt you know what the goals even are. It's only year 2 and year 2 has barely even began.

Can you give us the cliff notes of the conversation Morris had with our AD when he was hired? I mean, did Morris tell him he would come in and win the SEC title right away, or did he say it would take time? I'm guessing he said it would take time. Do you know what sort of timeframe they worked out? Because that conversation goes a long ways towards determining if Morris is meeting goals or not.

To be honest, it sounds to me like you don't know what you're talking about and your proposed solution to this predicament is counterproductive. From my viewpoint it isn't wise to be hiring new coaches every other year. It costs a lot of money to do that and it's a bad look. I would imagine that other potential coaches wouldn't look favorably on a program that fires it's coach in year 2 of a rebuild that is intended to guide a program out of its 100 year low point.

I was at charity event last night that had a silent auction. One of the items was a pair of lower bowl (~50 yard line) tickets to the Colorado State game. They had a starting bid of $25 and ended up with 1 bid for $25.
