I trust HY....but I don't trust the ORWG/GOBN/BOT not to mess this up. Guess we'll find out for sure soon enough. PRJ is doubling down on the coaching changes board though.

Having said all that, I have zero idea where this search is headed. After Bert got hired I named 85% of his staff on Hogville before he announced his first coach.
Whatever is happening is locked down pretty tight. If things are leaking, they're leaking differently than they did before.

Here's what i'd like to know. Who started the BLJ rumors and why? No one with two brain cells believes that's going to happen. But what was the point? Somebody trying to send a message or somebody trying to screw with us?

My theory is that report that BLJ and Traylor would be retained (which I think is BS) was misconstrued and that people ran with it as BLJ would be named HC.

Perhaps. Maybe I'm too much of a conspiracy theorist but I think it was more purposeful than that.
My thoughts:
1) It came from our side as a wakeup call to the BOT
2) We're using it to ease the transition to options 2 or 3
3) somebody just trying to pile on and make us look bad

I like "Never take counsel of your fears". We have a good AD, top notch facilities, and millions of reasons that a good coach will want to make a move.
