Same reason we saw Carter Sells for first time midweek. They need some other arms with midweek games coming plus SEC weekends.

Early in the year poll numbers are really no a reflection how good or bad a team is.
Coaches poll is really the only one I pay attention to and not until mid season.

Don't do it man. Trying to figure out how the early season baseball polls work is the path of madness. Results either don't matter, or matter way out of proportion to the rest of the season.
