Glad to see we’re able to keep some pieces from oline. Hate to see Shaq go, but hopefully we find a replacement as good. If I had to guess, we were overpaying some for his performance but he wasn’t bad by any means.

You are not. Like I was saying the other day, my guess is he doesn’t have other options of comparable compensation. He looked like a major bust this year.

It was probably a coaching/culture problem, not a talent problem.

I mean he averaged 5 YPC which isn’t too bad. Definitely seems like he didn’t show as much flash as he did against Tennessee and Mississippi State as a freshman though.

Chad Morris really should stop being used as a reference point. It’s an extreme outlier.

But it is a real concern to a point. You know that the SEC is a line of scrimmage league. I love speed, but you better have some girth/size as well. (THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID)...
But it is true. Can Silverfish do as well in the SEC with what he had in Mempho?

There’s a lot of concerns that won’t be alleviated until we start playing. How offensive line are developed under a former nfl oline coach should be low on the totem pole imo.

Really just depends on what he's getting.
My guess is too much. He was a portal hoe last year and I doubt he's looking to take a big pay cut.
