While at A-State, Tillman helped produce five all-conference players, helped Red Wolves rank third nationally with 18.47 yds per punt return in 2024, ranked 23rd nationally, second in the league, in kickoff return defense at 17.77 yds per return and the punt unit ranked 53rd nationally, third in the conference, with a net punt average of 39.59 yds.
In 2023, the special teams unit blocked three kicks to lead the league and rank 10th nationally. A-State ranked ninth nationally in kickoff return at 25.37 yds per return.

Same here man, very impressed so far. Our defense should be night/day different from last year. Quality depth as well.

I also kind of see a theme I’m sure others have seen. Some young guys, who haven’t played a lot but went to P4 schools and were rated well coming out of high school. Also addressing position groups seems calculated

As the portal officially closes Hogs currently sit at #12 in the country in portal class rankings, good for 5th in the SEC. Players will still visit/sign but nobody can now enter the portal.

This is what I like to see the most. Under PittBoss we had no rhyme or reason to anything. At this point its more than obvious that those guys were absolutley overmatched in every aspect of recruiting. They were lazy, oblivious to what we needed. It could've been avoided two years ago and that's 100 on Hunter, but I'm going to give Silverfield props. Hopefully he saves Hunter bc that means we finallly have a competent coach
